The Abandoned Cart Addon helps recover carts by capturing client and guest carts, showing an optional cart-leave warning, sending WHMCS Cart Recovery email templates through automation flows, and restoring the saved cart through recovery links.
What The Addon Is Used For
Admin Area Sections
Settings: Controls tracking, client SSO recovery, capture delay, admin notifications, cleanup, language options, and guest email blacklist settings.
Template Designs: Controls the built-in email layout variables and custom HTML/CSS templates.
Email Templates: Explains how to create WHMCS Cart Recovery email templates and insert addon variables.
Automations: Controls the Client Flow and Guest Flow, email step timing, selected templates, offer expiry, and promo-code selection.
Recommended Setup Order
1. Install and activate the addon.
2. Configure Settings and Cart Modal behaviour.
3. Create or customize Template Designs and Custom Templates.
4. Create WHMCS Cart Recovery email templates.
5. Create the Client Flow and Guest Flow under Automations.
6. Add promotion codes to WHMCS if you want recovery offers.
