The WS Fraud Record System module uses its database of fraud, abusive, or otherwise unpleasant clients, compiled by contributing companies, to verify your new clients and new orders for fraud. The module will provide information about the customer score in the FraudRecord database; a score greater than 0 indicates that the customer has been reported in the past. To match the client, the module can use even a single email address, IP number, or client name.

With the WS FraudRecord System module, you can also query the FraudRecord Database for the current customer score to check if they have been reported in the past; show reports and customer record profiles, or submit a report about an offending customer.

Installing the FraudRecord System is very simple. The following steps will guide you through the process:

1. Back up your WHMCS files and database.
2. Upload the package contents to your WHMCS root.
3. Go to `System Settings > Addon Modules`.
4. Activate `FraudRecord System`.
5. Configure Access Control and `Delete Data on Deactivate` only if needed.
6. Go to `Addons > FraudRecord System > Settings` and enter the FraudRecord API Key.
7. Go to `System Settings > Fraud Protection`, activate `FraudRecord System`, and configure its separate Order Screening API Key and screening settings.

Testing

FraudRecord warns not to use realistic real-person data during tests. Use unrealistic dummy data only.

Suggested test steps:

1. Open `Addons > FraudRecord System > Settings` and save the FraudRecord API Key.
2. Run a manual lookup with dummy data.
3. Activate FraudRecord System under `System Settings > Fraud Protection`.
4. Save the fraud module's separate Order Screening API Key and rejection thresholds.
5. Create a dummy order and run a fraud check.
6. Confirm rejected results appear in `Addons > FraudRecord System > Flagged Orders`.
7. Confirm the client-profile FraudRecord tab can bypass future screening and remove or apply the client-area ordering restriction while the fraud module is active.

Installing CleanTalk Anti-Spam is very simple. The following steps will guide you through the process:

1) Upload the entire folder to your website - if you experience problems, try uploading in binary mode. However, do not upload the “upload” folder, just the files inside it!
2) Login to the admin area, go to Configuration > System Settings > ADDON MODULES
3) In the addon modules page, you will see CleanTalk Anti-Spam. Click Activate, then click Configure to see the options
4) You can access your module at 'Addons' → 'CleanTalk Anti-Spam '; you can setup what you need

If you see this on ClientTalk Portal
My website status is "Waiting for first comment, registration or contact"!
Usually, it takes 10-15 minutes to change the website status after plugin setup. Please use the email stop_email@example.com in the comment, registration, or contact form to test the module and force a status change.
