Have you thoroughly tested the system against false positives? Sometimes, even though there's no website downtime, an alert is being sent by some monitoring services, which is called "false positives"

ANS: As above: Yes, if the website is down, then it will check other locations to be sure that it is offline. If it is offline at all locations, then it will report the monitor as DOWN; otherwise, if even 1 location finds it up, then it will report it as ONLINE.
